Exam Results August 2023

In 2023, results days will be one week apart with Level 3 qualifications on Thursday 17th August 2023 and Level 2 qualifications on Thursday 24th August 2023.


Preparation For Upcoming Exams

 

Equipment

You must provide all your own equipment. Ordinary pencil cases or boxes are not allowed in the examination room. You should bring your equipment in a clear plastic bag or transparent pencil case.

For certain examinations you will also need the following:

  • Compasses

  • Protractor

  • Calculator

  • Coloured pencil crayons

The following equipment should be brought to EVERY examination:

  • 2 pens – Black Only

  • 2 HB pencils

  • Ruler (marked with millimetres)

  • Pencil sharpener

  • Rubber

 

Examination Times

Be at your examinations room at the following times:

  • Morning Examinations : 9.00 am

  • Afternoon Examinations: 1.00 pm

 

Late Arrivals

You will not be entitled to any extra time should you arrive late for any of your examinations. In the case of public transport delays, you must call the school office on 020 8386 6220 as soon as possible. If you arrive more than 30 minutes afer the start of any examination, you may be unable to sit the examination and the relevant boards will have to be notified.

 

Illness, Emergencies and Absences

You must attend all examinations that are allocated to you on your individual candidate timetable. Misreading the timetable will not be accepted as a satisfactory explanation for absence. You will receive a bill if you fail to attend an examination that has been paid for by the school. If you miss an examination due to illness, you must call the school office on 02083866220 as soon as possible on the morning of the examination, and a medical certificate/letter MUST be given or sent to the Examinations Officer within three days of the examination you missed. If you don’t do this, you will receive a bill for the entry fee for the missed examination.

Clashes

If you have a clash between papers of different subjects, arrangements will be made for you to take these examinations one after the other or if the total time is more than three hours, the examinations will be split between the morning and afternoon sessions. If this happens, you will have to be supervised over lunchtime, you will not be allowed to communicate with anyone else and will not be allowed to use your mobile phone (or any other electronic communication device).
