Thanks for visiting our prospectus! Our curriculum is built with the support of professional creative partners to ensure that it is industry relevant. We organise our subjects into faculties and we also group subjects together into employment ‘pipelines’ so that you can see what subjects prepare you best for the various trades, crafts and disciplines that make up our creative sector.

English and English Lit
Part of the ‘Production and Writing’ Pipeline.
English and Literature is all about reading and analysing the best stories and the most powerful writing.
English and English Lit are essential if you want to master the crafts of narrative and powerful communication.
Part of the ‘Creative Media and Technical’ Pipeline.
Creative Media Production looks at the skills behind content making including graphics, editing and camera operation. This is a ‘hands on’ technical and vocational set of courses that seek to develop the next generation of content producers.
Film Studies
Part of the ‘Production and Writing’ Pipeline.
Calling all film buffs… this is a subject all about loving, interpreting, analysing and studying films. You’ll look at how meaning is made in film. You will make your own short film product and you’ll watch, review and analyse some great screen works from huge blockbusters to innovative indies.
Games Design
Part of the ‘Creative Media and Technical’ Pipeline.
Animation, digital model making, working with graphic content, digital language, software, virtual structures and environments. These courses are technical, applied and creatively practical.
Culture & Sociology
Part of the ‘Production and Writing’ Pipeline.
How did I become me? How do people form identities and communities. Sociology looks at the work of cultural theorists and thinkers and considers how sociological research can be undertaken to better understand people, culture and the way we all relate together.
Production Hair and Makeup
Part of the ‘Arts, Trades and Crafts’ Pipeline.
Hair and Make-up for productions, shoots and shows. From prosthetics to period styles, the course is highly practical and tailored specifically to prepare you for a career in the creative industries.
Production Technology - Lighting
Part of the ‘Arts, Trades and Crafts’ Pipeline.
Lighting for theatre, live events and media productions. Rigging and lighting, design and installation in response to creative briefs. This is a practical, hands on subject.
Production Technology - Set and Props
Part of the ‘Arts, Trades and Crafts’ Pipeline.
Model making, construction, scenic painting, prop design and manufacture. This course is a practical and applied option where students respond to production briefs to create sets and props for real shows and shoots.
Art & Design
Part of the ‘Production and Writing’ Pipeline.
Research and experience great art and develop your creative skills in a range of mixed media… from fine art to 3D sculptural works, screen printing and collaborative arts practice. From concept to sketch to full installation, our art department has a few courses to really develop budding creative artists.
Photography
Part of the ‘Creative Media and Technical’ Pipeline.
Composition, camera operation and technique, image manipulation and editing. We even have our own dark room. Learning from great photographers to develop you own photographic style.
Costume & Fashion
Part of the ‘Arts, Trades and Crafts’ Pipeline.
Textiles, fabrics, pattern cutting and sewing techniques are all part of becoming a costumier and/or fashion designer. We have hundreds of costumes onsite as well as industrial sewing machines.
