Post 16 Rewards for Spring Term
Congratulations to all our Post 16 students for their great efforts this term. Sorry that this term was cut short by 2 weeks due to Coronavirus. As a result, we have not been able to have a usual post 16 end of term rewards assembly. Therefore, we are bringing it to you here as an EUTC Update.
Here is an introductory message from your head of post 16 Ms Burgess:
Independent Learning and e-learning
In our modern world - especially in our specialist creative industry technology plays a major role in communicating and learning more than ever before.
You have now seen that many industries have had to adapt to working from home and this has been a challenging yet developmental experience in preparing you for the professional industry.
The world may have changed its format for the time being, but we won’t stop striving to make you the best you can be. We still aim to instil you with a strong work ethic, being responsible for your punctuality and attendance to your e-learning google hangouts and meeting deadlines. Please continue to attend your google classes and give your very best effort.
And now for the rewards!
For BEST ATTITUDE to learning in each subject, the winners are:

These awards traditionally come with voucher prizes to some of the popular eateries in Elstree and Borehamwood including CREAMS, MOD PIZZA and NANDOS. Unfortunately, these places are closed at the moment due to the social lockdown, however, we will issue vouchers once the world returns to normal. For now, recognition goes to:
Core Values Award
Now we come to the big points awards! The core values awards are given by our heads of key stage, the projects team and our pastoral team and they recognize students for each of our EUTC core values. Each winner will gain 250 points for their studio!
And the winners are:
Student Mentors
Congratulations to our student mentors who have successfully completed the mentoring training course with our partners - the University of Hertfordshire.
Certificates have been issued for students. These students provide an invaluable contribution to the EUTC student community - they provide vital support to other younger students. This support is greatly appreciated by the students, their families and the staff at EUTC.
Finally… we have the Headteacher’s Ambassador award. This recognition is presented to a student who has exemplified everything EUTC stands for - creative hard graft and professional excellence. Commitment both to their studies and also to opportunities within our projects team. The winner gains 500 points for their studio. Huge congratulations go to: Chloe S
Massive well done to all our post 16 students who are continuing to work hard from home at this stressful time. We look forward to celebrating with you in person as soon as we are passed this crisis and lockdown is lifted. Missing you… EUTC.
