Key Stage 4 Rewards for Spring Term
Congratulations to all our Key Stage 4 students for their great efforts this term. Sorry that this term was cut short by 2 weeks due to Coronavirus. As a result, we have not been able to have a usual KS4 end of term rewards assembly. Therefore, we are bringing it to you here as an ESA Update.
Here is an introductory message from your head of key stage Ms Shipp:
So… Let’s get right to the winners.
For BEST ATTITUDE to learning in each subject, the winners are:
CONGRATULATIONS to our students of the month for March 2020…
This award is presented by the head of key stage 4 - Ms Shipp. It takes into account the recommendations of all staff at ESA. Therefore, this award recognises all-round excellent performance and attitude. Certificates are issued to the winners and Mr. Mitchell looks forward to meeting with you when school reopens.
Achievement Point Certificates
Next… Achievement points. These recognitions are in 3 categories - BRONZE (50 achievement points or more), SILVER (100 points or more), and GOLD (150 points or more).
And the winners are…
Next up…
Studio points for Highest achievements and ‘most improved’ recognitions.
These awards traditionally come with voucher prizes to some of the popular eateries in Elstree and Borehamwood including CREAMS, MOD PIZZA and NANDOS. Unfortunately, these places are closed at the moment due to the social lockdown, however, we will issue vouchers once the world returns to normal. For now, recognition goes to:
Core Values Award
Now we come to the big points awards! The core values awards are given by our heads of key stage, the projects team, and our pastoral team and they recognise students for each of our ESA core values. Each winner will gain 250 points for their studio!
And the winners are:
Ambassador Award: 500
Finally… we have the Headteacher’s Ambassador award. This recognition is presented to a student who has exemplified everything ESA stands for - creative hard graft and professional excellence. The winner gains 500 points for their studio. Huge congratulations go to:
Josh W.
A Note From The Past…
Lastly, Ms Bailey was organising her office last week and found this note behind a filing cabinet. We believe that it is from last year. We were very moved by it and thought we would share it with you. It is a brilliant motivator - keep on keeping on KS4 and we look forward to being together with you all soon.
