Response Information
Following further changes to the government guidance given on 25th May 2020 regarding the lifting of lockdown and limited reopening of secondary schools, we are planning to provide face-toface sessions for students back in school from 15th June 2020.
From the Principal: Firstly, thank you for all your support over the last 6 weeks to keep our community safe. Our thoughts and love go out to those that have experienced illness and loss. We remain a strong learning community of care, relationship and commitment to each other and we look forward to a time when we can be together again in school.
Due to the current circumstances regarding the COVID-19 virus outbreak, Contactline have expanded our 'quick queries' service across Hertfordshire.
From the Vice Principal: I am emailing to outline two types of support that is being offered by external agencies during lockdown.
From the Principal: It’s hard to believe that the lockdown of schools has only been 2 weeks, it feels like longer. Lots has been achieved in these two weeks and thank you to our students for their continued hard work through the online provisions the school has made available.
From the Principal: Brace yourselves, this letter is rather long because it aims to deliver a lot of information about how EUTC will be functioning for the foreseeable future.
From the Principal: Further to my letter last week and the further announcement from COBRA today, I am writing to you regarding our current response plan to the Coronavirus emergency.
From the Principal: Current government advice is that schools stay open however, this could change soon. As soon as we know more I will write again. Rest assured that we have a closure contingency plan and will be ready to follow DfE guidelines as soon as we have more information.
